Scrum Master

Overview

We are laser focused on developing innovative digital products, services and partnerships to help transform the online and offline shopping experiences and drive value for shoppers, retailers and brands. News America Marketing is looking for a Scrum Master to help drive large scale, fast moving projects from concept to launch. You will assist two other scrum masters in the day to day, blocking and tackling, removing roadblocks, pushing for project delivery, and best of all, learning!

We are looking for an energetic Scrum Master to join our growing team! You will be responsible for helping to drive the team as they develop product features and iterations, helping to maintain the Agile Framework and ceremonies, as well as helping to clear roadblocks for other Scrum Masters. Additionally you’ll be responsible for keeping the teams organized and focused on defining, developing and delivering the customer experience for new innovative digital initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Consistently being on the move, from one team to the next to ensure that you can keep the flow of execution on track. Includes checking in with each team member on a regular basis and providing value to your team as needed.
• Providing air cover for the other Scrum Masters to help drive teams to project delivery.
• Helping to provide consistent and accurate reporting, pulling from Jira as well as other data sources to ensure full transparency to the organization at all stages of projects.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
• Solving problems. Always be looking on better and more efficient ways to solve problems.

• Very organized, driven, and inspired by achieving results within an organization.
• Passionate about making News America Marketing better for members, clients, and employees.
• Self-motivated, willing to step up and help out in any way you can.
