Our Client Success team sits at the heart of everything we do at Checkout 51. They’re responsible for flawlessly executing campaigns for some of the largest brands on the planet across a network of millions of shoppers. No pressure.

Overview

As you can imagine, the Director of Client Success Operations plays an essential role in the smooth running of the team, the total operations, and ultimately the success of our clients.

We’re looking for a rare individual who can help lead, inspire, and run a team of talented specialists but also hone our operational processes and work closely with key stakeholders, including Sales, Product, and the larger Client Delivery group. You’re likely the most organized person you know and you’re no stranger to a spreadsheet or Gantt chart when it comes to your professional life (maybe even personal?) and you’ll bring that rigour and attention to detail to this team and the company as a whole.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, inspire, and run a team 8 specialists that are responsible for executing time-sensitive campaigns across a host of partners
  • Outline a vision for what success looks like, clearly outline how to measure it, and regularly communicate progress to your team and senior leaders
  • Ensure you’re effectively managing your resources by tracking utilization and communicating potential gaps well in advance
  • Deliver on critical operational targets to ensure we meet the high expectations we set and those of our clients
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Insights teams to ensure we’re constantly evolving our capabilities and setting ourselves up for success
  • Drive operational efficiencies through People, Product, and Process
  • Execute with excellence

You’ll need to have:

  • At least 3+ years experience leading a team responsible for deadline-driven outcomes
  • A strong understanding of process and the drive to constantly improve on how we work
  • Strong communication skills in order to get the most from your team, as well as managing escalations from sales and other key stakeholders
  • An interest and passion to sweat the details
  • A bias for action and the ability to bring that to your team
  • Empathy to better understand the challenges and opportunities from the standpoint of multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Product, and the Senior team
  • At least a basic understanding of product management and how to collaborate with product team to build better tools and capabilities that improve how we work

If would be great if you had:

  • Previous experience working in an agency
  • Previous experience in sales and/or sales operations roles
